Michelle Obama is ushering in the fall season with a refreshingly casual burgundy ensemble.

On October 14, the 62-year-old former first lady appeared on her podcast, “IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson,” wearing a red-and-white J. Crew striped top and a matching cardigan, both featuring blue stripes on the back. She paired the pieces with burgundy track pants from Gap that were adorned with a bright red stripe along the side.

The Becoming author accessorized with open-toe black heels, a chunky burgundy cuff, her signature earring stack, a mix of silver and gold rings, and a baby blue manicure. For her beauty look, she styled her braids in a low ponytail and left a few loose curly strands out to frame her face, and kept her makeup minimal.

The fashion-forward episode featured Kylie Kelce, where Kelce opened up about motherhood and her childcare arrangements with her husband, Jason Kelce. In Michelle’s Instagram caption announcing the episode, she shared additional details about their conversation.

“Kylie shares how the women who coached her helped shape the way she sees motherhood, mentorship, and showing up for the next generation,” she wrote. “We talk about what sports can teach young women about resilience, pursuing our passions, and embracing all the different parts of who we are as women. Sometimes, one of the most powerful things we can do is simply show the next generation that they belong.”

The mother of two sported another fall-ready look at this year’s U.S. Open. On September 10, she attended the women’s singles semifinals between Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina in a long-sleeved, collared Chanel shirtdress with vertical stripes and gold buttons. She accessorized with another dazzling earring stack, her baby blue manicure, and soft pink makeup.

Michelle switched up her color palette for her August 12 podcast episode with Megan Thee Stallion. There, she donned an all-white ensemble that featured a low-cut tank top, a high-waisted pencil skirt, a cropped jacket, and white heels. She accessorized her look with gold rings and wore her braids in a center part.
