Beloved female skiing champ aged just 26 dies in horrific accident while enjoying paradise winter resort
Female skiing champion Ellery 'Ellie' Curtis has died at the age of 26 following a tragic accident on the slopes over the weekend. Curtis, a former NCAA All-American skier from San Francisco, was pronounced dead at the Palisades Tahoe resort in Olympic Valley, California, after suffering a head injury. According to the LA Times, the Placer County Sheriff's Department received a distressed call at 3:45pm Saturday. However, Curtis had already passed away by the time deputies arrived at the resort.
